Wedding Tips

Hi Hi Brides and Bloggers!!

Finally, another installment for all of you lovelies! This time around I have put together a few tips to keep in mind while planning your wedding and for the day of your wedding. So here you are! This is your night, soak it all in! Don’t try to be the entertainer the entire night either, enjoy every moment of it!

Trust me, Photobooth will be the best way to spend your money, you could seriously spend all night in there!!! haha, But, don’t hog it, and don’t miss the rest of the party! (Remember as well to make sure the photobooth you choose has Awesome props!)

This will actually help your DJ out a lot and it will take the pressure of trying to please everyone off your shoulders, since they will tell you exactly what they want!

If you don’t make a big deal about anything, no one will know it was missing besides you….think of a singer messing up the lyrics to a song no one else knows, unless they make a funny face or scream about it 😛 The secrets safe!

Getting the ideas from them on the RSVP will help you with this a lot!

If you are trying to plan things too far out you’ll just cause yourself to do more work, choose vendors about a year in advance, pick a date and work from their. Hopefully your vendors know the drill and will guide you through it. Include those who want to be (unless they’re overbearing and too opinionated-don’t stress yourself out more than you will be) Including friends will help make it fun and share the responsibilities, keeping you happy and stress free! No Bridezillas please! 😛

Take pictures and include them in the binder, including all of the choices…then in 20 years you’ll be able to say “what the hell was I thinking” Or, wow, I was awesome at this wedding stuff!

It also gives you some cute photo options you wouldn’t have available if you were to wait until the ceremony to see one another, like cute sneaking up on one another, first glance pictures! Great facial expressions to be caught on camera!

Seriously, I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen umbrella pictures and they are freaking adorable!! Picture some super cute rain boots included…ahhh! It makes me want to run out in the rain – if only it were raining right now….

hehe, this one is slightly silly, but for real, there are some pretty awesome things you can do with corks!

The dreaded toast! Hopefully has been made slightly easier. Also, keep it 1-3 minutes long, you don’t want to bore anyone and kill the mood. And keep it PG people, there will most likely be children and conservative grandparents…no need to bring up a horribly embarrassing memory! And last tip, gathered from observing in the “field”…make sure your toast story…is about the correct person! haha, nothing worse than telling a story about your sons wife to find out its the wrong girl…opps!

If you want the Perfect dress, give yourself ample time for it to come! Or you might end up settling for more reliable options. and we don’t want that.

Not much else to say about this, your ladies should want to keep you happy but don’t be completely selfish, keep them happy and comfortable and there’s one less thing that could cause a problem later!

But keep in mind, you should be getting a french or American manicure. Funky colors are in right now but ten years down the road you might look at it and think, what on earth was going through my eccentric little head!

There’s plenty more where that came from as well! We have a whole other blog just about the wedding kit, check it out for more detailed tips!

Hope you all enjoyed my words of wisdom…gathered from all sorts of various web pages. Keep  watching for more Wedding day themes! More fun to come!

Love and rainbows to all the brides out there!
Jess- out 🙂
